Message from Ms. Shari
WE WON! Homecoming was a great success. Our first win of the season and well deserved. I want to congratulate all the
Football Players, Cheerleaders, Mascot and Team managers for all the hard work and presentation. All of the Cheer teams
displayed excellent athletic skill, dedication and spirit. The Tenets of R.E.S.P.E.C.T. were met for sure!
The Varsity team's performance was outstanding and loved by staff and students! Of course, no one admired you girls more
than your families and myself!
Congratulations on your performance and all the practice and sweat everyone put in to the routine. The parade was fun and the
best quote "I can't wait to be on varsity so I don't have to walk!"
A special thank you to Tori's parents and family who offered their truck, boat and time during the parade. We apologize for not
being more help in clean-up after the parade. They apologize for their not being more help.
Thank you to Nicole Nelson who created the costumes for Varsity Cheer's Performance.
Thank you to Addison's mom who also is always supportive, taking photos and has made sure all the megaphones are given
some loving attention.
Thank you to Peyton's mother who donated cases and cases of water for the back to school dance and for sale during
basketball season. We also want to thank her for arranging for the order of uniform pieces so that everyone will be outfitted the
same.
Thank you to the Sonja's parents, who after putting 3 girls through years and years of SMHS Cheer, who always volunteer, show
to support and who worked the snack bar for the back to school dance.
Thank you to each and every parent who has wanted to pull your hair out over the hours, money and emotional moments you
have had to endure from your child because of cheer. It does all pay off, ask my mom! Mom still tells me "how much it cost her, I
was never home, and the dramatic moments drove her insane"! I remind her that it all passed and it made me the woman I am
(that's scary uh!)

put in to aiding our program.
Thank you to Leah, the Head Cheerleader of the Matadorettes, who has shown excellent leadership, dedication and skill in
handling her position. The new uniforms are beautiful! Your team has surpassed my expectations and more. Good work girls.
Thank you to Coach Behie, who was right by my side during this busy time. I sure appreciate her time and effort.
Thank you to the Football Boosters who provided us with Pizza prior to Homecoming and support all that we do!
Finally, thanks to the three team managers who make all this happen!!!! We could not appreciate any one more than you.

ALL CHEERLEADERS SHOULD HAVE THEIR FOOD HANDLERS CARDS INTO ME. I WILL BE BENCHING THOSE ATHLETES
WHO HAVE NOT COMPLIED.
PREPARATION FOR UPCOMING FUND RAISING EVENTS AND BASKETBALL AND WRESTLING SEASON.
REMEMBER LADIES - POGB DUE ON MY DESK ON MONDAY, PRIOR TO PRACTICE. I WILL BE ENFORCING THE
CONSEQUENCES FOR NON COMPLIANCE. MANY ARE STILL NOT ACHIEVING THE ACADEMIC GRADES THAT ARE
ACCEPTABLE FOR CHEER ATHLETES. PLEASE FOCUS ON YOUR STUDIES AND GRADES LADIES. REMEMBER FAMILY
FIRST, THEN GRADES!
PLEASE PAY YOUR BILL WITH VARSITY SPIRIT FASHIONS SO WE DO NOT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITH ARRANGING FOR
CAMP, OR LOSE OUR CREDIT. BE RESPONSIBLE PLEASE, IT AFFECTS EVERYONE IF YOU ARE NOT.
